My situation is that I started off with 2 rabbits that I bought a while back and was told they were both males. About 3 months ago I took in a rabbit that the owner could not keep anymore and he is a male also. Well I now have 2 litters, to my suprise my 2 males are really females. I bought a pen to seperate the male until I can get him fixed, While I know it is needed I feel bad because he will now be alone. My question is, do I keep his pen in the same room or do I put him in another room? Which would be easier on him?

If you can, I would leave him in the same room where he can see and smell the girls. They need at least 3 inches between cages though so they don't breed through the bars. Remember to keep them apart for 4-6 weeks after he's fixed because it takes a while for him to become infertile.
