So Mr. Cookie has been with us for about a month now... And he has been super energetic with lots of binkies and 500s... I've also always been able to feel his ribs, spine and hips (but not see them just feel them) well just like the last few days he seems heavier to me and not as active... Or when he is active he needs more flops to rest... I also cant feel his hips as much as I could before...

Maybe he was a little underweight before and now is gaining some?
Should I be concerned it seems to have happened so fast?

He also is just acting super tired the last few days... Of course my hubby thinks that is because he is up all night "romancing" his new stuffed girlfriend LOL

What do y'all think? I'm so paranoid with this guy....

I've forgotten his age. Is he full-grown?

Have you changed anything in the house, like new furniture that is bothering his sensitive nose?

I think you'll feel better if you take him for a vet check, unless you can come up with a reason better than your husband's.

We haven't changed anything... That I can think of...

They estimate he is about 18 months old... So I guess full-grown? He was 4 lbs at his last vet apt...

He does seem to be eating alot more pellets than he ever did before... I might need to cut him back to meals instead of free feeding them to him?

I'll prob call the vet... The vet is SO far tho, Id rather not take him... Unless I'm certain something is wrong...

He's also peeing, pooping, eating & drinking normally (aside from the additional pellets recently)

Reducing the pellets would be a good idea. The general guidelines are 1/4 cup per 5 pounds of body weight. You should reduce it gradually. Star with a larger measured amount that is close to what he will eat in a day. Then give about 1 tablespoon less per day every few days until you are at a better amount. Feeding twice a day can also be good, just divide whatever amount you give in 1/2.
Give him lots of hay to eat. Timothy or other grass hay is best for adults.

Make sure he gets lots of exercise as well to maintain a good body weight. .
