Seems like the wrong time.

So, in the winter I go to the barn in just a hoodie a lot of the days.... run in, feed, pet the horses and tell them to stay warm....... have to pick the stall sometimes..... I get cold and usually I don't get sick.

Over the weekend, I developed pneumonia.I had some antibiotics left over from an ear infection, so I started those. Apparently that was smart of me since I am already kicking it in the butt!

Ithas beenaround 80° F outside, sunny and pleasant most of the time.

Doc said it could have been swine flu (that stuff is really going around but we don't hear about it cause they aren't testing everyone/it's not as bad as they thought) and then gone into secondary infection, or even whooping cough is going around here which can cause a nasty cold in even those of us who've been vaccinated for it. He just didn't need to know WHY I got it but gave me lots of medicines to help me get over it completely.

One drug makes me super shakey and another one makes me zonk out big time (strongest cough syrup he could order for me).... Such fun!

Eeek I'm sorry you're sick. I've never had pneumonia but it sounds terrible, especially the side effects of your medication.

It's not fun having it, but at least I'm over the worst of it. If I can just get my energy back I think I'd be alright! I painted my dining area last week, I wanted to do the kitchen this week.... not happening....

Somehow I knew I'd be NOT resting today. A quick trip to let the horses out and swing out for bunny feed (which I haven't even gotten YET!) turned into going to Meijer to look for some plates and stuff for the grad party. Then, my mom wanted me to see if they had some things she wanted. they did... so I took those to her and visited some kittens that a cat brought up to her house (she's like the neighborhood feed the hungry house of animals!) and found out that Lexi has a clinic with Dakota tonight... so I came home, we're on our way to bring the horses up from the back pasture, load her tack and when son gets home - hook up the trailer..... load the brat that doesn't want to get in the trailer and off we'll go.

I'm glad I went back to bed for a while this morning!!!

Actually, I'm feeling better so I don't mind going.

No pictures yet. It was the diningroom.... I haven't come close to the livingroom yet LOL!

I'm tired tonight but that's ok. I took my inhaled medicnine and I am shakey but it really helps me right now.

I'm going to bed really soon!

Pneumonia is not good- how lucky that you got it yourself and started those antibiotics!

I hope you feel better really soon! I imagine getting over something like that can take a lot- it must really knock the stuffing out of you....

Thanks! I had a bunch of stuff to do today for preparations for Luke's graduation. I was out most of the morning and EXHAUSTED! I came home and fell asleep at 2pm, just got up... at 5 pm!! Guess I needed a nap!

I have had Walking Pneumonia before but that was a long time ago so i don't remember what it was like.

I was sick last week.
Had a super bad headache, both my ears ached, body aches, stuffy nose ans sore throat. Went to school on Thurs. stayed home Friday and was a couch potato all day.

I still have a slightly stuffy nose and Tuesday had another headache, a pounding one though!

I was thinking maybe it is Swine Flu....but I didn't want to get tested cuz I don't want to be the first in my area to have it! haha.

My mom's boyfriend was asking me how I managed to get sick this time of year....and with this weather. lol.

They say that it's pretty much going around and they aren't even testing people much. My son's coming down with the cough now. I hate being sick but at least I'm feeling better now.
