The step counter applications can now be downloaded for most newish phones, so don't buy it just for that because you can have it on almost any phone!

I have the Nokia N95 8GB and I love it. More memory than I will use, great camera (5mp), video camera, sound quality is awesome, free GPS navigation, high quality 2.6 inch screen etc. and step counter that also calculates distance covered and energy used etc. Worth a look!

^ That is the phone I have. Mine is silver and orange though I wanted the pink one.

As far as how I like it, I like it - but that's all. The camera takes really good pictures considering it's a cell phone camera and it gets exceptional reception compared to some of the other phones I've had. But there are some definite downsides as well. Because of the way it locks/unlocks, the phone was constantly connecting itself to the internet causing me overages that I was none too pleased with. I've since gotten the internet removed from my phone because it was such an issue and I like it much more now. I also don't like how many of the extras aren't extra at all. Each service costs a ton of money and since they weren't that important to me from the get go I'm not using them. So a lot of the advantages of the phone are moot for me. My friend also has the same phone and she's not that thrilled with it either. And for the same reasons as I've listed above. It has a tendency to be very frustrating because if you don't hit the right button it takes you all over the place. I guess what it comes down to is that it's not as easy and straightforward as I need it to be. It does have some great points and I'm not exactly rushing out to get a new phone, but it does have downsides too.

All in all, it's a good phone so long as you know what you're doing and have a use for the added extras (and don't mind spending the money to use them).

Oh, and by the way, the step counter isn't so great - it's often inaccurate :).
