I've been working on a scrapbook for my friends 18th birthday (next week) ALL DAY! And I'm still no where near finished! I think I made it hard for myself, I'm doing a sort of 'papier mache' style pages, with all bits of paper glued down with PVA, then sticking photos all over it. Its definitely not neat but its looking really good! I've done around 4 pages (they are only A5!) I'm just searching through all my ancient photos to find some of us when we were younger. I can only really find ones of us Aged 11 up, only one before that when we were 5. Its really difficult to remember where each photo was taken and what 'period' it was from (I've divided each page up into say 'Our First Trip to London', 'Our Holiday to Spain' etc.
I'll post some photos in a sec!

OK here are the pictures of the first few pages I've done. So much work.... I still have loads to do! I've been doing this for like 4 hours now!
Please excuse all the weird old photos of me... and all the weird things I've written. Seriously please ignore them!
Front cover, still haven't decided what I want to write on it yet!:
2nd Page: There is a page before this I'm going to write something but its just blank ATM:

Ooo - very nice Fran! I'm actually wanting to do something similar myself. One of my friends is turning 18 next Saturday so I'm making her a sort of 'box scrap book' with loads of stuff in to make her laugh. Nice pictures, pampering things, funny little notes etc. I'm still working on it but hopefully it should be good!
I was quite lucky, I've got loads of little stashes of weird memory things. Train tickets from when we went up to London this New Year, little post-it notes we wrote to each other. I guess its good I've clung on to everything!
Boy does it take a long time though! All I've photographed there took around 4 hours. I've just come online to find a map of Central London to remind us of the time we got lost on the way to the Tate Modern (on the same day that Live 8 was on, and also Gay Pride '05! Boy, London was packed then! You could hardly breathe!)
EDIT: Just realised, my friend is turning 18 next Saturday too! How weird....
