Good day all!!

:jumpforjoy:

Sunny and cold here in NJ.

Got a chance to sleep in a little this morning, and still got up to feed the buns early (7am)

The days seem to be getting longer.....lighter earlier and later....(really helping with the SAD issues)

Already ran the errands......bank, convienience store, pet supplys, etc.

I decided to try some of the Oxbow timothy pellets...to expensive to buy in the pet store on a regular basis though.
I plan onmixing a little in with all the buns regular supper. How will I know that they eat them?
They look a bit different, but I'd like to give them a little bit separate to see if they like it.
Maybe I'll just give them out as "treats" today.

It's going to be a day of relaxing for a change. I plan on doing a major cleaning tomorrow, but I need a day off.

I'm watching the Beatles movie "Help".
Leftover Chinese food for lunch.

*Yaaaawwwwnnnn* I'm so tired tonight. I rode around the entire estate today and was outaround 3 hours. My legs are soooo sore.:(It's my own fault though.:pAlso poor Smokey is suffering with a bad cough lately as he has a mild dust allergy which seems to be really playing up now (apparently he is always bad towards the end of the winter) so I can only walk him at the moment.Poor Smokey - if only he would eat soaked or dampened hay but he just refuses!:?

It's also a sad day in our house as I'm afraid our pet Chicken Ginger may be leaving us soon.:(She is quite old and today doesn't seem to be able to stand up and hasn't eaten or drank all day (which is what our other chicken Babs was like before she passed away). It's just so sad, as although she may be 'only' a chicken she is a member of our family and I'm really going to miss her if this is her time to go.:(

Happy Weekend! It's been a long day today. Lexi has 8 a.m. ball games and we have to be there around 7:30 or so. Then they have a practice like game with other players at 10:15. So we spend the whole day in a gym. I came home and did a couple of things - then fell asleep! :biggrin2:

I did manage some cuddle time with Bo and made it to the grocery. That's about it today LOL!

It's been a very peaceful day! One roomie went home last night for the long weekend and the other is working today, tomorrow, and Monday.

I just answered the door and the first thing out of the guy's mouth was "Are your parents home?" and I just about burst out laughing! I told him "no, no parents" and he said "oh, they aren't home?" I started laughing as I was saying, "no, I live here without parents". Apparently I look young. :?

So today I read a little, surfed the net for a while, and started rebuilding my website. I'm bad for keeping it up with school but not that I have time, I am redesigning it completely. You can check it out at http://www.freewebs.com/mybabybunnies/. I only have the main page uploaded right now.

Rabbit Show this weekend!

Spent the whole day and night in Wetaskiwin for their annual Rabbit and Bird Show. It was a Triple Open with 2 judges from the U.S. and 1 from Victoria, B.C.
There will be a single Cavy Show, a single Youth Show, and eight Specialty Shows.
Lots of English Angoras, French Lops, and Holland Lops. There are more Lionheads turning out, but I am still left out from seeing my first Giant Flemish. :tantrum:

I am so jealous Stan, I wanted to go to that show again! Which reminds me, today is the first adoption day for Reese!

I want to see a Flemish too... I am almost positive that my next bunny will be a giant breed because I just love them so much!

It was a very good show. Local breeders won BIS. Yea!

I mentioned to Shannon about Spice and Reese. She was sorry about Spice, she might send you an email.

I know what you mean about giant breeds. Crystal's French Lops are so beautiful. They looked so cuddly on the judge's table. If I was to kidnap a bunny, it would of being one of her Frenchies. :innocent She did have a Chestnut Buck French Lop for sale. Good thing I didn't havea chanceto talk to her. ;) Her husband did want me to talk toher about getting a new camera.

So tell us, who where the U.S.A. Judges? :p

Pretty Frenchie! ;)

I still attend shows, but don't show but rather go to write. However, around here it's hard to get two people to sit down and write so my days are normally very stressfull. Just cause someone is sitting down that writes all the time doesn't mean they don't need help.Sorry ranting on a pet peeve of mine that's making shows no longer fun for me. :p

Other then that.. it's an interesting few days in the household. Having some family issues along with a relationship delima. No fun!!

The writers seem to have fun at our shows. We have teams that switch off and on. It's so fun to be by the Judges as they are so entertaining with knowledge and jokes. :D

Here is Scott Wiebensohn hamming it up for the camera. ;)
