I picked up a new buck from Ann Ott yesterday. =3 She is just about THE friendliest lady I have ever met.

He's completely out of coat, so I guess now would be the time to type critique him, haha.

Please critique my posing, too. I know it's not correct, I'm trying. XD Yesterday was the first day I had actually seen satin angoras besides my own, and the first day that I had been there to see them judged.

And his girlie, who placed 3rd of 5 yesterday. (missed show A... guess I didn't hear them calling 10 feet away?)

I am VERY excited to get a rarer breed in the barn. I have absolutely adored the doe since I picked her up a month ago. Too cute!

And I am super excited to start spinning as soon as I'm able to harvest a bit of wool.

I'm bumping your post Megan as I too have a pair of satin angora's and I'd like to hear some comments on yours. I can't even find any info on the correct way to pose one. I love having a rare breed but it is also difficult because there is not much information out there or breeders to ask!

I'll try to post some pictures of mine.

My dream Angora! I own three French Angoras, good luck with your satins they look great! The buck is just adorable! I have only raised German and French angoras but never satins :)
