Okay, I'm really not as lame as I come across. But I did want to introduce myself. My name's Samantha and I'm 14 years old. I live in Ohio and spend my time between my mom's house in Cleveland and my dad and stepmom's house in Chardon. I also have an older stepsister and a younger stepsister. And I have a "sister" that is a member of this forum. She's the one who got me interested in rabbits again and is letting me adopt one of her bunnies to use for 4-H. And I'm going to be taking care of them for her when she's in the hospital for a couple months. So I thought it'd be a good thing for me to join and get as much extra help as I get.

My bunny is an american chinchilla named Lennox. She's bonded to another one named Silvie. And we also have a couple other bunnies named William, Ruby, and Einstein. They're my "sister's" bunnies, but she's going into the hospital tomorrow and she's probably not going to be back for at least 3 months. So that means it's up to me and my mom to take care of them. I'm excited, but I don't know. I had a bunny when growing up (a black flemish named Sebastian).

Anyway, that's me! Oh, I'm also a freshman in high school so I'm not around much during the day (except now since I'm on winter break this week). I hope to get to know y'all and your bunnies soon! This site looks so cool and I can't wait to jump right in!

:welcome1

i am not gonna lie, i just kindarelized that smiley was here, and i am gonna use it as much as i can!!

anyways, welcome to RO! its great, a place to share all your bunny stories and pics, so your friends wont think you are crazy, well not really! i am a junior in hs, and none of my friends understand my love for buns!

ENJOY!! there are SO many helpful and friendly people here!

Hello and welcome!

A little late for winter break isn't it? We had our 2 weeks right around Christmas / New Year's. (I'm a Senior.)

I'm looking forward to hearing even more about your buns and hopefully seeing pictures.

Thanks for the welcomes so far!

My friends have never understood my obsession with bunnies. But I haven't had one or wanted to get real involved with them since losing our flemish boy 2 years ago. But, even so, I have about a bajillion things rabbit-related and I am always talking about them. So far I'm really excited about having another bunny and being able to participate in 4-H this year with rabbits.

As for it being winter break, I didn't know it was late for that. We had 2 weeks around the holidays too, but that was holiday break and not winter break. I don't know. We always have this week off for President's Day and all.

I need to ask my mom whether she's okay with my posting pictures of Lennox. I know my "sister" has posted them before, but I have some of my own anyway. I'm hoping it'll be okay to post them. And we have pics of all the other bunnies too. I'm just happy to be here and be back with rabbits. I don't think I've left Lennox and Silvie alone for a minute all day! Well, except for when my "sister" kicked me out of her room because she was finishing up packing. But then I just stole Lennox and now she's sitting on my lap as I type this. He he!

Oh, I didn't realize you had two separate breaks. Sounds nice. I won't complain though because we do get 2 weeks off at Easter and I'll graduate May 24th so I'll end up with plenty of time off.
:)

Missy not sure about there but here we got 2 weeks for holidays, two weeks for winter than two for spring.:biggrin2:

Welcome to the forum. Gladyou are back into rabbits.

Whoa, that totally threw me off about you knowing what county I live in. If it's okay, I'm going to PM you instead of answering in the thread since I'm only 14 and don't want to give away too much information to the whole world. I hope no one's mad at me for it!

No prob. ;) I'm a former 4-H advisor from Geauga County.

We now live in PA - can you believe my husband still commutes to Cleveland to work?

Pam
