Safe Toy?

My bunnies LOVE to dig.

I gave them a dig box, with dirt. And they had a blast digging in it. But.... that made a HUGE mess :shock:

From when I had ferrets I have a couple alternative ideas. But I wanted to check if they were safe for bunnies, as they chew more than ferrets do...

1. Uncooked macaroni
2. Uncooked beans

3. Ping Pong balls - I don't think these would have quite the effect I'm looking for, but maybe.

Hmm, well I'm not much help on this, as I don't know for sure, I know beans aren't the greatest for buns to eat, but that's really all I know.

Other than that, seems like a great idea for a dig box if one of these works. I'll have to look into one for my buns.

I'd be concerned about the rabbits eating them, as they shouldn't have either.

you could try shredded paper or black and white newspaper
