This may be a long shot, but does anyone know of a house plant that is rabbit safe? I was hoping there might be one that rabbits don't care for and will leave alone?

There are many that rabbits SHOULD leave alone because they are toxic. I assume you don't mean those, because what they should do & actually do might differ, tragically. However, cactus is safe for rabbits to eat BUT I would imagine they wouldn't be that likely to try it. Or you could spray any plant they WOULD like to eat with something whose scent you like but they don't.

See pesches.com/gardenrx.reference/toxicity

Yes, I know bunnies will eat toxic plants. I was hoping there was some way I could have afloor level plant that they would not be interested in but would still be safe just in case.

I couldn't open the website. Is the address correct?

Sorry; it's gardenrx/ not gardenrx.

It says in general rabbits avoid plants that are aromatic, have prickles or spines, &/or tough, leathery leaves.

As the list given is mainly of outdoor plants, you might want to make a list of the scientific names of the houseplants that you like & do a search for each one "________ rabbits"

I like answers to things. I bought a book of weeds that's pretty good [Weeds of the Northeast] & am starting to look up all the weeds I have in my yard. I may get done by the end of the summer. Some I know already: dandelion, queen anne's lace, plantain, but I was surprised that another plant is poison hemlock. I guess Honey won't be getting any of it, lol. Luckily, it's only along the back fence.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

The above gardenrx site list geraniums as a "rabbit deterrent" plant. However I just saw on a couple other sites that geraniums are toxic to bunnies. In fact, one had it listed as "extremely toxic," and that one leaf could kill!

Now I'm very concerned, as I purchaseda geranium today (based on the info from the one site)and one of my rabbits ate part of a leaf!

The plant is now out of their reach, but what should I do?

Their toxic to everything, deer never ate thrm though dk bout rabbits

Youll of prob be stuck with a hanging plant or having it high up. There are some pothos that cleanse air and other plants. African violets are low light.
