Recently Roxy has been lunging at and biting me but not my DH , I would imagine she's entering sexual maturity at this point as she also quite territorial. Is there anything I can do to help or show that i am top bun since I am quite intimidated by her at this point :(

So, she isn't spayed yet Marie? If not, that could have alot to do w/ it. Seeing u as her care taker would be why she is doing this to you alone. Not much u can do for now, besides give her toys to take out her aggressions on, limit picking her up if you do.

Will you be getting her spayed soon, how old is she?

Spaying will help. Also you need to assert your dominance like an Alpha would. When one of our was starting down the biting path, I would pin them down or pick them up and turn them belly up and talk to them for a minute or two--they may not have understood me, but it made me fell better plus I had complete control of them--only had to do it a few times and now we all get along just fine. They even come when called and love head rubs.

She is close to 9mnths i would think because she was just a baby when we got her and did not display any territorial stuff yet. I plan on having her spayed but cannot afford it at the moment, I don't usually handle her much anyway and when i let her out of her cage to have her play time i let her go in on her own or if she is biting the carpet or other undesirable behaviors i clap my hands or stomp my foot and she knows and will run into her cage..lol
