Root Canal Day!!

I've never had a root canal so I can't offer any advice, but I can offer some hugs and a prayer or two...

I've never had a root canal either, but if it's anything like having 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once then I truly sympathize with you. Two words of advise - good drugs! :hug:

my 14 year old daughter had one done ... she would not take the pain shot and her dentist doesn't use laughing gas... so her dentist did ith without and it took 4 times going to get it finished... I hope all goes well with your root canal...

I didn't get the root canal done.



The tooth the lady damaged when she hit me in the face had a developed a decent sized crack in it so he had to work on that one instead.

I stressed overa root canal that didn't happen!!!



Oh well. My next appointment is on July 10th.

But, you have to be relieved it didn't happen today.

Did you see my post in your other thread? I hate the dentist too, but root canals aren't that bad, really. I've had 4. As long as they numb the canals before doing the filings, you be fine. That part is the worst. I'd rather have a root canal anyday over an extraction despite the ungodly cost of them. (There are 3 steps to a root canal. The second part is the post and core and third is the crown, done in 3 separate visits.)

I always wait til I'm in dire pain to go get them done too.
