Resting in Litter Box?

Is this normal? Lately Emmy has taken to chillaxing in one of her litter boxes. (and sometimes makes a big ol' mess in doing so!) Is it fine to let her do this or should I try to redirect her back to her towel?

It's fine! Lots of bunnies love lounging in their litter boxes They don't make a mess when they do it, but their litter boxes have higher sides than Emmy's. Emmy is super cute, by the way!

Yes, get one of the big sizes with high sides, so Emmy can stretch out & snooze to her heart's content.

Yep, all mine love to lounge in their litter boxes. I have the same one for my Luna and Kreacher. High backs are nicer. I got one of them for Neville Especially when they love to rearrange. Helps to control the debris.

But definitely normal to chill in the litter box. Your bunny looks so comfortable.

Cookie like to rest in his for the first few hours after it's been cleaned lol then he sleeps somewhere else til we clean it again lol but yes totally normal

While researching litter training I read it was normal. Harriet does it all the time.
