He needs a forever home! I live in Charlotte, NC

He's a neutered young little boy who seems to be about a year old. He is very sweet, loves to be pet all over, lets you hold him in your arms, and is liter box trained. Very healthy and beautiful. I adopted him as a life mate for my bunny but they refuse to fall in love so I must let him go.

He's an indoor bunny only of course.

He's adorable!

Is your bunny a girl? Is she spayed? Im wondering if we could somehow help you try to bond them..sometimes it can be very difficult but if youre patient and willing to try some different methods maybe we could offer some suggestions? I bonded two males who were mortal enemies when we started.

Also, was your bun adopted from a no-kill rescue? Some places have it in your contract to bring the bunny back if things dont work out. But Id only consider that if you know its a good rescue.

aww hes sucha cutie! im an hour from charlotte... but my boy pepper isnt neutered yet..i wish i could have him though!

i actually got one of my last two bunnies, Petey, from the charlotte mecklenburg animal control.. maybe they could help you rehome him?

Aww youre sneaky- I didnt know you were considering him! Congrats to you both. Now we need some pictures of your new guy ;)

:) To be honest, I didn't think that I was considering him either! I saw him on Craigslist and emailed his owner to post him on here to hopefully find him a home....but I couldn't stop thinking about him, you know how that goes ;)I actually tell lots of people to come here when they are looking for help w/ their rabbits. I'm a HUGE lurker but I never post:baghead

I'll try to get some pics of him tonight! He really is a sweet boy...he snuggled with us on the couch for about 2 hours last night but still freaks out if we are standing up or make any quick movements. His previous owner took really good care of him and really thought hard before re-homing him, it wasn't an easy decision for her. She had a few people ask about him but she didn't like what they were telling her (ie - they want the bunny so their dog will have something to play with?!) My other 2 HATE the fact that another bunny is here, I'm hoping that they will calm down in a couple of weeks.
