Hi Everyone,
I am new on here and I have a question about my new bunny's diet. I rescued a black and white dutch rabbit that is around 6 months old. She was fed only pellets up until I got her. I have gotten her to eat timothy hay (which up until now she has never had) and she totally loves it. And she is still eating the pellets too but I have tried to mix in some veggies slowly as well and she just turns her nose up at them? Even carrots! Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I can try?
I also like to get her out and exercise her when I home from work at night and I have bunny proofed the kitchen and I sit in there with her but does anyone have any suggestions on what else I can do? I looked into getting a pen for her to set up in the living room (which is pretty hard to bunny proof LOL) and they are like $60! I just really can't afford that right now. I have a leash for her which I would like to try outside with her once it gets nice out but for now I am trying to figure out something for inside.
Thanks fellow rabbit lovers!!!
