rehoming the rattie babies

i have had the girls for a week. and while i love having the rats around, i think i am going to need to rehome them. i wasn't ready for another pet, and well, i don't have the money to give them the home they deserve!

so anyone in michigan want a couple of very cute girl ratties? i am just about to place a petfinder add and see were that leads me, also thinking about putting up a craigslist add. . . we will see!

just thought i would update ya'll on them. . .

Katt, good luck finding them a new home! Are you posting on Goosemoose, too? You've done a wonderful job with them and I'm so thankful that they happened to fall into the hands of a loving person. I'm sure you will find a wonderful home for them! If I come across anyone in Michigan looking for ratties, I will tell them about yours.

i am currently talking with a lady down in muskegon that runs a rescue. she has room to take these to in if i want to put them there. she is great, takes in all different small animals. i only have to make the 3 hour trip down to see her.

i am thinking i will give it tonight, then put a post on goosemoose tomorrow, and do some more options (like talk with my local vets, and such).

it isn't like an asap type of thing. . . i just want them to be settled and in their new home soon so they don't get to attached here, then get ripped away from 'home' again. . .
