I was told by the adoptions coordinator at the Randolph City Shelter that a local polic officer is looking to rehome her two angora rabbits. She can no longer care for them due her recent medical issues.

I will have more details tomorrow as I am going there to pull a baby lop for the rescue I volunteer for.

If anyone is interested or knows someone who is let me know here or by email.

Ok back from my adventure up north. Next time I'll set up a transport. I now remember why I don't like driving on 287 and the northern part of the Jersey Turnpike.

I forgot to ask about the Angoras. Anyone can contact the shelter.

Here is the info:

The baby lop is cute. Of course, all baby bunnies and animalsare cute. Someone released the poor little thing in a park a couple of weeks ago. People!

Poor little lop! Bless you for taking her in. She was probably so scared out there on her own.

Keep us posted on the Angoras. :)

I named the little lop Randi after the town. She is very lively and bright-eyed. She is about 8 -10 weeks old.

Here is her profile on petfinder.

On a personal note I like to dump the "human", who dumped in the her in the park, deep in the woods to see how they would feel being left to fend for themselves. That is to fend for themselves without anything to defend themselves or anything for survival. But I know that is not going to happen.

As for the Angoras if you are interested you can contact Erika at the Randolph Municipal Pound. The info is above.
