Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I have to find a new home for Olivia and Owen. My grandmother and cousin moved in with us and they are developing severe allergies to the buns. I really hate to give them up but my grandmother's health isn't so great, and I don't want to take any risks.

They are Holland Lops (broken orange), 1 1/2 years old, spayed and neutered, and bonded. Very sweet and friendlytemperament. I'll include 2 carriers, litter, food bowls, water bottle, treats, pellets, and hay.

Please let me know if you or someone you know can give these two a good home. They're the cutest brother and sisterduo since Donny and Marie Osmond! Feel free to PM me for more information. Thanks guys...

Hey Chrissy,

Im so sorry to hear that you are thinking of rehoming these two. They really are gorgeous and it sounds like you love them very much.

I know your Grandmother's health has to take precedence, but have you tried different ways of cutting back on allergens so maybe it wouldnt bother her? Like could the rabbits stay in one room and you keep their area cleaner? Could you try shaking out any hay/litter/pellets out before you bring them into the house? Or try switching from regular hay to hay cubes? Another idea is to buy a HEPA air filter and use this in the bunny room.

I have pretty bad asthma and allergies myself so I know how the hay can get to you.

Keep us posted and we'll try to do our best to help.

They are so adorable!

When I first got Phinn, both my parents were extremely allergic to him, to the point where my Dads skin would crawl, and my mom had to use her inhaler every day (she usually only uses it about once every month)

It may not sound encouraging, but after a month or two, the completly got over it. It seems as if they got immunity. I would wait it out for a little bit.

I hope you can find a way to keep them, or a good home if you can't. :hug2:
