I took in three baby buns this summer, and now they are healthy, spayed/ neutered, and more socialized, they are ready for their permanent home. I have about run the well of goodwill dry with my DH, who is very allergic to these little guys. I have invested a lot (not intending this to mean finances exclusively), and while it is nothing compared to the outlay of a rescue group, it further cements the fact that I do not want to see these little ones in anything less than a great home. All of their supplies, food, cages, litter boxes etc will go with them so they have somewhat familiar surroundings. They have been inside exclusively. One of the mini lops and the netherland are bonded (they are chinchilla and blue/white colored :) ), the other is a little socially inept, and did not bond to well with anyone, so is currently a little agouti singleton in his x-pen. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it, I know everyone is swamped and has their own issues, and perhaps I should not have stepped in to help when I am not their permanent stop, but I couldn't see them in their previous situation any longer. Thanks for reading this far ;)

You're awesome to step in and help as much as you have. :) Your "taken in" foster students, i mean, guests are lucky you cared so dearly to remove them from a previous (doesn't sound too good) situation.
Wow, socialized, spayed/neutered, ... and now Guardian Mom is looking for great homes.

Praises for all you are doing !! TF

Hi there and welcome! Youre awesome for helping these three- I really hope we can help you find them a permanent home.

Do you have any pictures you could post? That usually really helps a lot.

Some ideas, if you havent done already, for rehoming would be to try craislist (make sure you post that its a rescue situation so hopefully you wont get flagged) andpetfinder has a classified section where you can list pets who need homes. Another great idea is to ask local vets if you can post something on their bulletin board (be sure to include pics).

We have a list at the top of the rescue section of great questions to ask potential adopters.

Thanks for being such a wonderful person- these three are so lucky!

It will also help if you can let us know what general area of Texas you are in....since its such a big state.
