Regular newspaper

Can I use regular newspaper in my buns cage and/or litterbox?
Or do I need to get the recycled stuff? Because I have a ton of old newspapers that need a use other than starting charcoal.

It's good in a dig box, but most people say it doesn't work well as litter.

I think all newspaper is okay as long as it's soy-based ink (that's what I've read at least.) Also, you can't use glossy advertisements or anything.

I use some recycled paper pellets for litter (cat litter, non-clumping), and then put some ripped up paper on top of it for a little cushion.

It is safe to us, but isn't the most effective litter out there. Of course if you have a ton you can easily change it out daily.
