Redoing an outside hutch!

For my christmas my boyfriend found an outside hutch for my bunnies! It needs some work done to it, but that just means i get to add my own creative ideas to it! I will try and post photos of it soon! But the work that needs to be done is new locks on it, new roof, and the floor. Currently it is wood. Is that ok? I was thinking maybe wire, i dont know what its called but i hope people know what i mean . Also what else should go into it!

Would is okay as long as it's not painted or treated with anything toxic. I strong recommend tiling the interior if you have a messy bun because the urine will get absorbed into the wood and that's just impossible to get clean. Mine have ruined all of theirs because of this but my girls are big and messy. Lol. :biggrin:

Oh! I never even thought about that! That was the one thing i was worried about was the urine gettins absorbed thats why i thought of maybe using that wire! Brilliant!!

You can use wire, but make sure there is something solid, like a tile for your bunny to rest on.
