Really smart dog...

So my Shiba Inu, Kiba..
I was teaching him to wait when I set a treat down.

This is kind of how it went:

Me: Kiba. Wait. *sets treat down* Waaiiit.

Kiba: *waits patiently*

Me: Good boy! Go ahead! *repeats this process for a bit* Okay Kiba, waiit.

Kiba: *licks hand*

Me: Ohh, good boy!! *flattered that he licked me randomly*

Kiba: *eats treat*

Did you see what he did?
He licked my hand
KNOWING I'd say good boy.
Which obviously meant it was okay for him to take the treat...
