My rabbit Topsi has come down with a few mishaps over the past month and I'm really worried about him. It started off where one day he was limping and his left leg seemed to have felt like it was broken, it was really wobbly and he pulled his paw away whenever I tried to examine it :( We made a splinter for his foot and we didnt have any money to take him to the vet but its been about a month and there seems to be a bump on his bone but he seems to have gotten used to it although he still can't walk on it. I'm not too sure what's happened. Then he began to have this strange thing where his eye became watery and it made his fur around his eyes and nose become sticky and then his fur started to fall out :( We cleaned it often and put baking soda on it and its healing now the fur is starting to grow back, but now it seems he has a problem with his bladder?? He cannot lift his hind legs, its as if they feel heavy and because of this he can't walk. He also is leaving pee puddles in the bottom of his cage almost every day. It seems like he can't get to his litter box because it hurts? I'm not too sure what's going on but does anyone know what the problem could be or how I could help my bunny feel more comfortable at this confusing stage of his life? He is about 4 years old and he is an indoor bunny and he's had checkups at the vet almost every year. He is still eating and drinking like normal but because he can't move I feed it to him myself. He has never been this sick and unwell before. HELP :(

Im going to say you should probably take him to the vet. ASAP. You named a lot of symptoms and it could be any number of things. So a thorough vet check is recommended.

It sounds like your rabbit may have e. cuniculi. If he does have this, you need to get him into a vet ASAP. This can be a fatal illness if not treated promptly and aggressively. It's possible there is something else going on, but hind limb paralysis, watery eyes, and urine problems can all be symptoms of EC.

Regardless of what the cause is, it sounds like he is at the very least uncomfortable and probably in pain. I recommend you take him to a vet to help ease his pain and hopefully to end the cause of his symptoms.
