First, maybe I am odd, but I read the obituaries online each day. Sometimes I'll read the list alone and other times I will read some of the actual stories - like if it's a child or something. Is that odd? :lookaround

Now the story - I was just reading today's obits and saw the same last name of a man and woman....... she was in her 90's and he was in his late 50's... the name wasn't something really unique but it was enough that I stopped.... so I read each article. I first thought maybe it was a son and his mom in a car wreck..... and sure enough I found her name in his article. Then I kept reading... He died just a few hours after she did..... she was old and sick and he had a brain tumor.........

Freaky, huh?

I read the obits as well.I think it's interesting to read about people's lives. If it's odd, then we're in good company!

How freaky is that the they died within a few hours of each other!? Maybe he was hanging on for her, then knew it was ok to go whenshe was gone....I know, weird thought!:embarrassed:

I'm glad I'm not alone! and I thought the same thing - maybe he was trying to hold on for her or maybe he was afraid and when she left, she helped him go....

I totally believe that our life energy has to go someplace else....

I've heard of others having strokes and stuff too - so strange!

I look at the obits too, there has been a couple of times that was how I found out someone I knew died. :(Once it was a guy only a year or two older than me. He was working on his sister's car with it up on jacks. He was under the car with the tires off, and the jackstands collapsed somehow. He had a little two year old son, and now the little guy will probably not even remember him at all when he gets older.
