Rat People! Show yourselves!

I've seen a few pictures around with glances of RATTIE cages!

It's good to know I'm not alone~ I actually brought all three of my boys to school to meet people and educate them!

Old cage setup. Several months back.

Rat butts! Toulouse on the left, Sebastian on the right..

Crispin being nosey..

Crispin is the newest addition, I've had him for a few weeks.. he's a bit squirmy.

Crispin is silvered black berkshire, Sebastian is charcoal dalmation. Toulouse, my snugglebaby, is a russian blue agouti~

I love rats, but I haven't had one in a long time. I just get too sad when I lose them. I'm sure I will have another one in the future, though. Yours are adorable! :biggrin2:

there are quite a few rattie lovers here i am unfortunately one that would like to have a few but at the moment i cant. I am hoping to foster for a rat rescue in the area after i have my baby so not till at least next year but i am trying to read what i can on them

I'd love a little group of them, I'm can't have anymore pets now though, as I'll be going to uni in a few years, and although mum will look after Mad and Ebony for me, she wouldn't look after rats. Someday though!

I have three adult boys right now. I just lost one of my old guys due to age and health issues on May 7th . I am getting two new baby boys from a girl an hour or so away on June 8th...I may also be bringing home some more that day to foster because she has run out of space to house the rescue litter.

For now, my adult boys are housed in a Petco Rat Manor. The babies will be housed in a Super Pet Exotics cage. Every one will be introduced once the new "Critter Nation" (like the Ferret Nation) is released...depending on if it is more expensive then the FN or not.
