I woke up this morning to find that both of my bunnies had pulled my carnations down from a table in my living room and they ate some of the flowers off! I just called the vet and I'm waiting on what they are going to have me do. Im really scared! I don't know if they ate them recently or hours ago. I read on some sites that they are poisonous and others say that they are okay to eat, so I don't know what to think! So far they seem fine. I just fed them some pellets and got them fresh hay and water like usual and they are eating and acting normal. Anyone ever had a similar problem? I'm really concerned!!! 😢

Don't panic. There aren't that many plants that can knock rabbits out of their boots right away. My bunnies keep nibbling at lily of the valley, ivy, and such stuff. Got me freak out after reading too much on the internet. When they are eating, drinking and acting normal it's a good sign. How much did they eat, and are they used to green stuff? Anyway, hay, water and food they like is imho actually the best you can do.

When Bunny was very sick, and wouldn't eat anything, we brought her some rose pedals. She ate them. Rose pedals had always been a treat for her.
