Hi,
Our 3-yr-old, chocolate-colored Rex passed away suddenly this morning. She had not been ill beforehand.
We found her this morning with her head wedged into a corner of her hutch and twitching. She looked very stressed. Her hind and front limbs were stretched out and the nails on her front paws were badly shredded. She must have been lying there all night badly incapacitated because there a snail trail on one of her hind legs. She had very shallow breathing and died a little while later when she was being examined by the vet.
Her companion rabbit is fine and not presenting any health problems.
Can rabbits have sudden fits or seizures?
