We are in a position to have many dogs in order to keep the Rabbitsfrom theft by the thieves. But we heard that the barking of the dogswill severly affect the Rabbits. Is that so? If so, in what ways itwill affect them and your solution in this regard, please. Your detailedreply, please.

The rabbit might get stressed out if he/she isntused to the barking. Do you have dogs now? Are the dogs always near therabbits (like are they in the same building)? What breed do you own?And what breed of rabbits do you own?

My buns too! It doesn't bother them. When my dog isbarking, they just periscope and check out my silly mutt..."Oh,nevermind, it's just the goofy dog!"

We have 5 dogs most of my rabbits ignore them.Ihave one doe that we bought as an adult she is very afraid of dogs tookher a long time to get used to them.bluebird

I wonder what would stop the dogs from harmingthe rabbits instead of protecting. Not that all dogs willattack rabbits but it does happen.

All rabbits are affected differently.I would introduce them slowly (keep the bunnys in the cage).Let the dog bark from far away and then move closer all the whilekeeping an eye on your bunnies behavior.

When I got my new puppy, I was very worried about how the rabbits wouldreact. I introduced them slowly and realized that I only hada select few that were scared of her so I worked with them more and nowthey are all fine. However, they don't like strange dogs nearthem. If they hear the neighbors' dogs barking they don'tmind.

Did you try to fence in your yard with a tall stockade fence so as the rabbits can't be seen?
