Rabbit with suspected torn ligament on back leg

Hi all
Wonder if this community can help. We are new to owning rabbits and our baby bunny is 12 weeks old. She has a suspected torn ligament in her back left leg. We know it is not splayed leg or fractured or broken.

The vet is suggesting a splint and bandage for 3/4 weeks. Any advice? Should we do the splint, shall we see if it would heal naturally.

I would get it splinted. Let us know if that helps!

As long as your rabbit can adapt to having a splint on, I think splinting it will give it the best chance of healing properly.
