I am looking for more toys for Alice, and I've come across a lot that use rope. For example this one. Are they a hazard and should I avoid them? So far I've just bought a few wooden block toys without the rope. I'd love to get that activity zone though. =P Any more suggestions are toys that are a hit with your bunnies would be very much appreciated. ^^

Haha the tunnels are cute! I was thinking of getting these litl "caves" from petco, obviously in a bigger size:

And then i wanted to get these grass mats to put on their levels or on the bottom:/Users/PeterHyatt/Desktop/fyVMtP8A.jpeg
not sure if the mats picture worked....

THe only problem is, they're so expensive! The cave alone is like $16! Can i order it somewhere else that is cheaper?

they also apparently love strips of plain brown packing paper that came in something I ordered recently, lol. oh, and a plastic spoon. they really like to swing their plastic spoon around, the little weirdos :p.
Nibbles loves brown packing paper, too! We used to have it woven through the holes in some of his NIC cage, but he's torn it all out and now has a pile in one corner. He seriously plays in it ALL THE TIME. Tearing, moving, pushing it around...crazy bun. Sometimes he even tries to hide in it if he knows I'm coming to get him for some grooming!

Junie and Crispin really like the tunnel we made for them. You can see a picture of it here:

Shiny Things LOVES toys. Beauty could care less. Wicker balls are a favorite, along with Wiffel balls, cardboard tubes and a few other things. I do not spend very much $ on toys. I think that one of Shiny Things all time favorite toys is these plastic baby Tweety Bird toy that I found at the $1 store.

I think they like that the paper makes noise when they play in it, lol... they love the cat tunnel that makes crinkle noises, too.

also, dollar stores are a great place to shop for bunny toys - you can find all kinds of stuff at them. examples of potential toys: untreated wicker baskets/mats, whiffle balls, plastic slinkies, hard plastic baby toys (links, keys, anything small enough to toss around, etc.)

i have some jingle bell cat toys. a rattle carrot. a little ball that is for dogs a cat tunnle i got from target it was like 15 dolalrs but its covered in capet and some kind of straw but she loves tearing it apart and hiding in it. her favorite toys are the toilet paper rolls/ paper towel rolls. and a cardboard box. ill give her a card board box and thats days of fun. also i have a few old books that she has that shes allowed to chew on old books from school they wouldnt buy back.

i do know that a smaller not chain pet store out here sells those hay caves for like 12$ in the really big size so maybe check around at other stores?
