My daughter has a mini lop who is 17 weeks old he is very very cute but for the last 2 weeks he has been pooing everywhere, tonight he was laying infornt of his litter try and pooed on the floor!!!!!
It is driving me NUTS, what can I do? He is also very randy at the moment.:?:shock::shock::shock::shock:

Welcome to RO!

Sounds like your bunny is testing you. Be patient.

Also the poop all over is his way of marking his territory. Hormones are raging. That's why he is so randy.

This is all normal.

If you want it to abate, then get this boy neutered. It will taper off the poop marking and in some instances the randiness.

Just be patient. Talk to him and keep putting him in his litter box. He'll get the idea.

I don't fret about the poop. That can be picked up simply. It's the pee mark that needs to be addressed.

Thanks,
I am trying to be patient, last night he wee on me, I was not happy:p.

This was a project for my daughter for her high school she started this year, but I have fallen in love with him, he is very loving and loves his cuddles.

Is it to soon to get him desexed at 17 weeks, his balls have only just dropped.
It is great to talk to other people about this.:D

Definitely he can be neutered now. But it all depends on the Rabbit Savvy Vet. All Vets are different and neuter/spay at different ages.

Boy, if I had a quarter for every time I was peed on, I'd have a good sum of money.

It happens. They mark what they think is theirs. And you are his. I know it's not a nice thing, but it is what it is.

I'd start looking for a Vet. A Rabbit Savvy Vet.

Welcome to be a mom to a teenage bunny. Derby is about 14 weeks and is just starting to "do" his stuffed animals, but is not spraying yet. If you put a hay rack attached to his litter box or even clean hay everyday in his litter box, that will encourage him to poo a little more often where he should. Derby poos in front of his feed dish when he is eating, teenage bunny poo is quite strong and smelly, but at least it picks up easy. If his balls are down, he should be able to be neuterd.
