Hi everybody,

It's nice to meet you all:biggrin:I love rabbits and I have an 8 year old rabbit named Spot.In a few weeks I am hoping to get a Holland Lop!Ican't wait to get it!Once again,it's nice to meet you all!

Welcome! Have you had Spot for the whole 8 years? I imagine you would have a very special friendship...

We always love seeing pictures :p

I got here when she was a few months old so almost a whole 8 years. We do have a very close relationship. She is getting old and gets scared more easily now but I make sure I am alone when I spend time with her.She nips more frequently now but then she apologizes by rubbing her head against my hand.I know that she probably only has a couple of years left so I'm trying to make the end of her life the best:biggrin:I hope lives a lot longer. It was wierd how I got her.I won her at a local fair!I'm excited to see how she tolerates the little rabbit buddy that she will be seeing in a few weeks!I will try to post pictures.

Haha that is a random way to end up with a bunny. Did you enter a competition, or was it a random raffle or what?

It sounds like you must have taken very good care of her and you obviously love her very much. Anywhere near 8 years old is a great life for a bunny I think :)

Welcome again, I hope you like it here.

Welcome to the forum. It is nice to meet you too.

I can't believe you won Spot at a fair! I didn't even know they did that. Was it at one of those games where you can win a goldfish?

That is exciting you are getting a new bun.

I hope to see you posting around the forum and posting some pictures of Spot and your new bun once you get him/her.

Thanks for welcoming me!There was a game where there was like five or six fake lilies that were floating around in a pond like thing and each lily had a cup on top and you had to try to throw a ball in one of the cups and I got lucky and won and that's how I got spot!

Let me welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo.

I am glad you have joined rabbits online and I look forward to seeing you around.
