Pristine wanted to make love to me last night. I felt so dirty. :sad: I had to lock her

out of the livingroom because she wouldn't leave me alone. Then Jason got home and she went after him. :faint:

Thank God she gets spayed in a few weeks.

Sorry dear, but I have to laugh. It reminds me of how Mocha would lift her butt up when I petted her before her spay. I thought she just liked the base of her tail scratched, like a cat, because I thought Mocha was a boy. One surgery (and gender fairy) later, I realized that Mocha was, umm, making herself very available!:blushan

Female rabbits can be hilarious when they want to breed. As a breeder, I just bred two yesterday....and it makes it so easy for me because I wait for them to let me know they're ready...

Anyway - some of the signs are:

lifting the tail

chinning EVERYTHING around - sometimes even a female will spray

digging at the carpet/tile/cage floor

I've been told that a female who has a litter still (waiting to wean) who wants to breed...will go after the males in the litter trying to breed with them...and has even been known to kill the males in an attempt to get them to breed...(another breeder told me this).

I'm so sorry that this happened to you and you felt bad about it. I'm glad for her sake and your sake that you're getting her spayed....

Sunny has just gone into heat in the last few days.
She runs around with her tail high up in the air, and was trying veryhard to get my mom's cat to errr...help her out...last weekend!
She met my uncle for the first time on the weekend and decided she was in love. Circled his feet for a good 5 minutes!
