One of my holland lops eyes looks a little red and I think there's discharge or something. Does the area around his eye just need to be cleaned with a baby wipe? Or is it an infection of some sort?

Sometimes clear eye discharge can be caused by dust or other irritants in the air. Other times, chronic dental disease, or infection like Pasteurella Moltocida can cause ocular discharge. If there is any redness, inflammation, or yellow/green/white discharge, I would have him seen by a vet. Otherwise, I'd continue to monitor and see if it gets better in the next day or two.

My rabbit recently had an eye infection and it looked like that. I would suggest you take him to a vet. I think I waited a little too long to take mine to the vet thinking it was just something benign, but he must have been uncomfortable because he wasn't moving around much and ended up with a urinary tract blockage and the beginnings of GI stasis. Luckily, he is fine now, but it was a couple of weeks of drops, then ointment because I couldn't get the drops in, and syringe feeding Critical Care. If I had taken him to see the vet sooner, I would only have had to deal with the eye infection and not all the other stuff.

our vet is over an hour away so it's not easy to just take him to the vet. He seems happy and playful but if his eyes don't improve I'll take him to the vet :) Should I clean the area around his eyes?

You can try using a plain saline eye solution(NOT the cleaning solution or eye drops with chemicals) to rinse out the eyes each day.

what is this? I just noticed it on his chin. I also forgot to mention I just purchased him yesterday. Should I contact the breeder and ask her? I would rather not bring him to the vet but if he needs to the soonest I can is Friday.

I'm really scared because someone said it might be ringworm and I accidentally touched it but washed my hands right away. I have other rabbits also and Im sure ringworm is transmissible to people and other rabbits. help please!

It's really best to quarantine a new rabbit and get a well check from your vet before having them in contact with your other rabbits. If you can't get to the vet right away, I would definitely contact the breeder about both issues.
