First off, hi. I'm new to the forum. I haven't had rabbits before, but I do have guinea pigs. Long story short, my aunt got a divorce and her husband kept their rabbit. Now he is saying that she needs to be gone. She talked to a few shelters this morning and all of them said that the rabbit would more than likely be euthanized. I've decided to take her in. Unfortunately, she has not been handled much. She is currently in a bare bottom dog cage. I have no idea when it was last cleaned out. She definitely has not been getting any vegetables. I honestly have no idea if she is even being fed hay or having her water refilled as needed. The poor baby. I have a c & c cage that will become her new home with fleece blankets. I really want the best for this sweet baby. Can anyone give me advice to get her back to good health?
