Hey! I will give a brief background of my buns! I have one almost two year old Netherland dwarf / lionhead mix that I've had since he was a baby and then a female 3-4 month old holland lop girl. The bonding between them went very well and within an hour they were grooming, cuddling and playing. It has now been about w month since introduction and they seem to be very more active than before. They are house buns that have free range of my small suite, and lately they have been chasing in circles, small nips that I can't tell if are aggressive or not, and even jumping at one another. My biggest question is, I can't tell if they are fighting or if this is just playing? They will do this for ten minutes then next thing I look and they are laying on their rug cuddling together. the 2 yr old male is neutered and the female isn't yet. I'm curious if she's just hitting sexual maturity and is trying to recirocate her dominance on him now?? I tr and separate them from their circle chases, and calm them side by side ans even remove one from room sometimse but no matter what they are both always anxious to get back to each other! I can't ALWAY be watching them so I'm wondering if I should be separating them when I csnt watch, or if this is innocent play? This sometimes leads to the female peeingom the hardwood and is making litter training less successful! Any advice or help would be appreciated :). Thank you

Sounds like the female is reaching puberty and starting to act hormonally. This can annoy your boy and could lead to a serious fight if you let it continue. Luckily he seems to be forgiving for now, but keep stopping them from chasing until you can get her spayed.
