Thought you guys would like to see my wirerabbit. I was repairing the fence over the weekend and was going tothrow out some mangled wire andIthought I'd seewhat I could make instead of just throwing it away.

I am planning to papier mache it and paint it. Watch this space formore pics as it evolves, (although it may me a while as I don't havetoo muchfree time for idling about playing with wire andmushy paper!!!!)

That is SO COOL, bunnihun!

I can't believe you wiped that together. Excellent Job!

That's so cool!

What a great imagination you must have to think, and whip something like that up!

Keep updating the pics, I can't wait to see more!

Ithink I would leave it as is! It looks great as wire. Something reallyunique and abstract.

So True! I've seen sculptures done by professionals that soldfor thousands of dollars and they didn't look nearly as good as that!

Thanks all for your encouragement on the wirerabbit and the ideas with putiing plants inside it too, it is quitedense with wire inside and so I'm not sure plants would do too well, but it's another idea for another project.

It is the first thing like this I have made, I just visualised my ownrabbits whilst making it.I really do want tocoverit though with papier mache and maybe a bit of plaster as I can thensculpt and paint it, I have the finished image in my mind (well sortof). I will keep you posted with pics.

Instead of putting plants in it you could grow afast growing climber over it and train it to cover the bunny.Just off the top of my head a Russian Vine or Cleamtis would begood. It would end up being a bunny shaped topiary mass.

bunnihun that's really cool! I hope you are ableto relax and "play" with the paper mache soon. I'd love tosee the completed project!

Or if you did decide you wanted to make aplanter, you could use what you have now as a mold and shape a hollowcase of chicken wire around it and then fill that with soil to make thetopiary... Then you could do your paper mache model and have a topiarytoo!
