Quorn is a meat substitute. My brother ate someand a few hours later he got sudden nausia and then vomited numeroustimes, 2 times it had blood in it. We almost had to take him to the ERbut he stopped vomiting. There have been SO many complaints aboutQuorn. Here is an article about it. Im suprised its evenlegal lol!

I'm glad your brother is ok. Also gladthat I don't like the flavor of Quorn.... I stick to morning star, lomalinda and worthinton foods.... don't care for boca, no flavor in myopinion but i'm kinda outnumbered in that opinion. :)

Sorry to hear about your brother - glad he's doing OK.

I have to say, in defence of Quorn, I LOVE it! I have been vegetarianfor 15 years and Quorn is the thing I eat most, as it is very versatileand low fat. My husband's brother had a heart attack, and his doctoractually recommended Quorn instead of red meat.

I understand that different things can cause reactions in differentpeople, as well as nuts, shellfish etc. I wonder if the US Quorn isderived differently from UK Quorn :?
