Firstly, I must say what a privilege it's been toreceive your help and advice through this forum. I cannottell you all enough times how thankful I am.

I'm asking Lanna because she has been raising a lop litter the same ageas my fuzzy lop litter and has been so helpful along the way. However,I welcome any and all responses from everyone.

So what have I been doing wrong? I've watched (I thinkJane's?) litter of five grow up bigger and healthier than our meesilylitter of two. You said in an earlier post a few days agothat Jane's kits were driving you crazy because they are jumping out ofthe x-pen and getting into trouble. Well, my two kits sleepall day everyday! They are the laziest bunnies I've everseen. Granted, I think they may have inherited some of theirlaziness from their mom (she's quite content sitting around all day andwhen she's in the x-pen, she takes the opportunity to just sit andsleep.)

What kind of pellets do you use? At Animart, I noticed thereare about 5 different varieties. Are they different from theregular pellets? What about treats?

I'm using Agrimaster 17% Rabbit Feed with Doc's RabbitEnhancer. I used to mix it up with Oats and Sunflower Seedsbut have recently stopped because of the kits getting into the feedbin. Is it ok for kits to eat oats (and sunflowerseeds)? Since the kits have been out of the box, I've beensneaking Biscuit treats. I take her out of the hutch to feedfresh vegies, but she won't eat when she's out of the hutch. She loves dried fruit, so I've been hand feeding her some of that oncepiece at a time so there isn't any left laying around the hutch for thekits to get into.

Also, in a post today you said your mama bun (abby) drinks about 3/4 ofa 32oz bottle a day....NONE of my rabbits drink that muchwater! Maybe 1/2 a bottle and that's on agood day. I live in a cold weather climate, but mama and kitsare indoors right now. Biscuit (the only doe I have who'sraising kits) has recently stopped drinking out of her bottle -- andI'm not sure how much water she's getting because I have a crock in thehutch now for the kits to drink and she tips it over everynight.

I also am feeding Timmy Hay from Kaytee. I rain outof the Timmy Hay I got from the breeder a long time ago and haven'tbeen able to find my own supply (rabbit people are SO tight-lippedabout their Timmy Hay suppliers, it's funny).

The mama doe (Biscuit) is going fine and seems very happy, but I'm notimpressed with how the kits are growing. Obviously, Triscuithas growing issues, but the other kit (Disco, although I think mydaughter changed the name back to Caviar), as cute as it is, isn'tjumping out of the x-pen. He/she just sits around all daylike mama.

I know mama is still nursing the kits because yesterday I checked onthem and both kits were in a drunken stupor flat on their backs, bellysbigand out cold:p.

Thanks everyone, I know this has been a bit of a ramble, I shouldn't be posting this kind of message when I'm so darn busy!
