We're still playing "guess the breed" and "is that normal?" with my foster bun family. Anyone have opinions?
BTW, they're 17 days old, mama is a small black mix and the potential fathers are all steel or agouti mixes, one with helicopter ears. They're probably all related.
This is Satchmo, the biggest baby by far. Always has been. His ears are wide and shaped funny- the tips point outward. Might his ears lop? Or what else causes that shape? Also, what is his color? He doesn't have the lighter agouti markings so I was thinking steel.
I'm not sure on the name of this baby yet, but he definitely has rex fur, curly whiskers and all. Does he look normal in face and body shape? I'm thinking it's just the thinner fur that makes him look like a skinny old man. Also, his fur has wrinkles and waves in some areas. Is this normal for rex babies or is it possibly he has some astrex curly fur?
That's it for now. Zappa the dutch has somewhat longer, more fuzzy fur than the others but maybe that's just a baby thing. It doesn't show well in pictures either.
