I'm wondering what amount of leafy greens I should feed to Emma, my 3-lb. bun?

Back in May, she was hospitalized fora bad stasis bout. At that time, I fed her timothyhay (24/7), pellets (2 Tbs.) and leafy greens (maybe 1-2 C.'s worth) daily.

Nowadays, I fret about how many greens (and possibly pellets again) to feed her without making her hay consumption decline too much. (I dread the thought of her having another serious stasis bout again due to my feeding errors.)

Thank you,

Jenk

You don't want to change whatever you're doing right now ..but i feed them the amount of greens that they can eat without having anything but a firm poop.
I feel less greens and more hay is the way to go

and you're not doing anything wrong..your rabbits are just very sensitive.

Yeah, you're right about not messing with the current formula.

Her poop isdarn near perfect (when she's not in stasis); in that regard, I won't mess with her hay/veggie regimen. Still, I worry thatshe won't quite retain her normal weight without at least some pellets. (I'll cross that bridge if/when I come to it.)
