Question on Albon (Sulfadimethoxine ) for coccidia

Has any anyone here ever used Albon (sulfadimethexine ) on a baby (2 monthsold) for coccidia

If so what are your experiences good and bad
We need some feedback for infirmary thread.

over here we have septrin which has the same main active ingredient (thanks flashy ) I have used it on 2 month olds and its been fine I dotn advocate it if possible I would treat cocci with pellet smush and crit care through it myself and have had no problems with that. But not everyone would try that and it depends on type of cocci tbh

I know the Septrin is the Paediatric Suspension but not sure the strength or anything and if it differs, but that shows the active ingredients.

Yup, Chubbs (the blue flemmie in my avatar) had to be given Albon at exactly 8 weeks actually lol. No bad experience, cleared everything right up. He was 2lbs then.

I used it in a 6 week old flemish buck with good results.
