I have tried time and again with Apollo. He'll go under but not totally tranced and not for long. Thankfullyhe's really good about getting his nails cut.

Have you tried with Fonzie?

Cali practically goes into a trance just when Iput her on her back. She relaxes immediately. It'snot always easy to get her in my arms and in the baby position on herback, but once she's there, she melts like butter.

Was just wondering...I know to put my kids ontheir back in my lap isn't bad...but how would you put a moose like aFlemish on their back in your legs, or the baby position like Carolynstated!

I was wondering this too, but I think it won'tbe a problem with Sampson. He practically goes into a tranceif I just sit and rub his nose. LOL

Very Very Carefully!

Even in this picture when we were cutting her nails, it didn't take much to keep her tranced.

I cut her nails by myself now. Thatwas when I first got her. You do have to take the attitude ofno matter how much they might struggle, you are the "Kahuna Rabbit" andthey'll do as you wish. As I said, once she's on her back, she takes a deep breath and relaxes, but getting her there sometimescan be a struggle. :)

Mambo, don't despair, just keep at it.Let the little guy know you are boss and it's going to happen like itor. Eventually you'll be able to flip as easy as turning an egg in theskillet.

Jen you are killing me lol. My tummyhurts I laughed so hard. if you flip a rex you can flip Sampson lol. It's just a bigger flip

Mambo, another option is you can see if Petco will do them. Iwas tired after a day of running around at the park so I asked them ifthey could cut Apollo's nails. They did since he's so big and chargedme $5 for it.

Tina

We have discount clubs at our local petshops. They charge $10.00 a year which includes all your petsand unlimited cuts.

But I have no problemscutting Pebblesnails and after seeing how Rowena holds Chinny.

Rainbows!

Vash will trance if I rub his head justright. I've tried to trance him on his back, but he won't gounder as deep compared to being upright. To trim his nails, Ijust lift his paws up one by one and cut them. He doesn'twiggle or anything. I never thought about putting him on hisback to trim his nails. My cats go on their backs, but myrabbit is too big for that lol.
