Hey, do you think a hepa filter would help with mold spores? :?My doc was pretty adamant (hope it's the right word - insistent?) about me moving but I cannot so I am trying to find something to at least lessen the problem...

When we had our new central air installed last year, we upgraded an got an electronic air filter with it. I can see a noticable difference in dust and rabbit hair around the house. It is supposed to eliminate mold spores too, although I can't specifically comment to that.

I have seasonal allergies and when I am closed up in my house they don't bother me at all. As soon as I step outside, runny nose and eyes. So, it seems to work.

Hmm msbinky - wish I could help. We just got in the market for a hepafilter for kevins allergies... one of the things he is allergic to is mold - we have a brand new house he just build four years ago, but apparently it showed up in his recent tests meaning he was recently exposed to it. The Doctor told him that a hepa would help with the mold as well as everything else. So I think it should help if you get a good one.
