I'm curious...i've been hearing that rabbit teeth are like horse's teeth. Plus many ppl seem to have rabbits with molar spurs.Does this mean that rabbits regularly need their teeth "floated"? If so, how often? Sorry if this seems like a silly question.

Not a silly question at all. Unless the rabbit has developed spurs, regular floating isn't necessary.

For the most part, rabbits won't need dental care if they have the right diet. Rabbit's teeth do grow through their whole lives. But, they can keep them worn down (usually) as long as they are given roughages to chew on (dry hay and hardwood).

Of course, sometimes the rabbits just don't eat enough of them or eat unevenly and a vet will have to do some corrections.
