question about my new bunny

when i pet him i can feel alot of the bones inhis back! is he underweight, is Ryo overweight? or are some breeds justmore boney than others.

(i dont think anything is wrong with him, he is eating and drinking and already doing "dead bunny flops" very curious too)

hmm...i dont know about that... peapoo is a little boney, but she just doesnt gain weight even though she gets plenty of food

well my new bun (named alex) has been eating alfalfa hay since the minute i brought him home!

You shouldn't be able to feel the back bones orhips much. On a rabbit of healthy weight, you should be ableto feel the ribs if you feel around a little, but not a lot of the back.

Sometimes lack of muscle can make the backbones stand outmore. It's possible he hasn't been getting enoughexercise. It's probably not too much to worryabout. Let him exercise at his own pace and feed him normallyfor his age. He shouldn't need extra help to gain weight.

yeah i hope he doesnt have any problems. its evident to me that he is underweight.
