So my first blog ever. Well right now I am staying at home cause my mom is getting ready to have my baby sister(October). I am so excited. I am hosting my mom's baby shower October 2. Other than that I really don't have a life outside of my animals. Not till January anyway when spring semester starts for TVCC. i will be going to study music education.
Summer is doing good and growing to be the prettiest thing. She thinks shes all that and is truly a little escape artist.
Rhett is just as high and mighty as always. He got to breed my Black senior doe pixie the other day. Pixie is mad at me but Rhett is as happy as can be.
Peanutt is his usual curious self. He has become everyones baby. He likes to come out of his cage and walk around and help me feed everyone else. he has such a personality.
Mocha has become lazier. She just lies around most of the time. I bred her back in august, maybe its because she knows?, But she is calmer which is nice she doesn't try to bite my hands off everytime I feed her I hope she is finally starting to trust me.
Ella is my mild baby. she lay around hop around a little bit. she loves being petted. Idk if shes been bred or not but I hope so. she is so sweet and such a character she'll tell me when its feeding time cause she will smack her feeder against the cage so I can hear it inside. she is spoiled, she always gets fed first since her cage is right by the feed, and she knows it. but she is my baby and I love her.
Gizmo is still shy of me I've been trying to get him to trust me but its not working. any ideas? but he is such a big baby once you do pick him up, more to my brother aand dad than me.
Pixie is mad at me for breeding her and will barely let me touch her. The lady was supposed to send me the papers the day after I got her cause she finally found them. I waited three weeks not a word. so I called her yesterday and told her to get me the papers or I would turn her into ARBA. She wasn't happy but hopefully I will have them today Finally.
My Lionhead is driving me crazy. He does that flop thing and scares the crap out of me. I was told he was 3 when I got him but he seems like he may be older. Idk how to tell the age on a rabbits.but He is such a lovey boy. He loves to be petted and scratched and gives kisses. lol
Belle is doing ok. Sister decided to attack her yesterday so we had to separate them. she has some scratches on her body that I am taking care of. She is startin to trust me I think. I think shes starting to become my baby. she knows when I come out there and she will whine and complain till I come over to her. My dad wated to name her shadow but she wouldn't listen I said belle and she pricked her ears up and came over to me.
Angel is my moody baby. She does not want to be touched or petted. but she calms down when I take care of her feet everyday they were rubbed raw by the cround she was on but i've been putting antibiotic an her feet and they are doing much better she seems to calm down after that. do you think she could just be agitated cause of her feet?
Now Cattle
Star is as big of baby as ever. We had kids over yesterday. She was so excited she loves kids. My cattle tell me when its feeding time. They will bellow into the window till we go out and feed.
June is my baby. she is kind of erie of kids. but she let them pet her yesterday then she backed off.
Heart Braker is my little Heifer. she is the one closest to the camera but facing the camera. Her and her brother the bull pic below hers as well as another heifer and 2 steers will be coming in in october. Yay!!!! so my life will be hectic.
The horses are both good. Majestic is the fieary gelding He has always been. and Nellie is such a baby she got ridden yesterday such a good girl. I think she was just happy to be out of her pen and excercising.
I have three people who I'm helping with rabbits next year. Taylor who I met at fair. Shelby who is going toget a baby from me and show rabbits next year. and a girl who I was going to get a rabbit from but she showed her goats for the first time this year and really wants to keep her rabbit and show it. I said it was fine and to let me know if she needed any help. so we are all gonna get together practice, study, have fun. lol
