I haven't had time to do much artwork this weekend! I have been puppy-sitting since Thursday evening. Poe came yesterday, and I have Kirby, too...It's been a pet-full weekend. After puppy-sitting, I have determined that I don't want a puppy next time. LOL What a headache! She is gorgeous, but oh so noisy!

I took tons of photos...of course, but I pared it down to 20 to share. ;) Here they are:

I love beagles too amy!
Their soooo cute really pretty! I love there faces :hearts: Clover is a sweetheart....Like Ali said I think you should keep her too :p

great pics! what a beautiful beagle (dont tell my choc labs i said that). im dog sitting too next week for a golden retreiver. she's grown up with chickens and bunnies and gets on very well with mine. what does poe think of the pup?:ph34r2

I'm not putting the puppy anywhere near Poe. Clover is teething and I don't want those sharp puppy teeth anywhere near him. If I'm correct, beagles are used as hunting dogs...not good for bunnies. ;)

my bunnies were rather miffed when the vet recommended we freeze a carrot to help our youngest choc lab when she was teething. poor clover - my chocs sympathise:) to this day i can still see the teeth marks in the furniture...

i have a beagle who could care less about my rabbits, lol.

She is beautiful, i will never own another beagle in my life, lol, the one i have is insane.

I meet SO many people who tell me similar things when I tell them I'm puppysitting a beagle. LOL Some really bad experiences with this breed out there...

I'm not saying they aren't cute, she's beyond adorable...but many people have a hard time with this breed. :) Or...so I've been told!

If you read the breeder's website, she doesn't breed hunting dog lines. These Beagles aren't bred for their hunting instincts....which I definitely like that and would like to own a Beagle like that.

I had Beagles growing up, purchased them from hunter breeders. So, our Beagles were always nuts and always were using their noses.

I'd love to meet a "pet/show line" Beagle compared to a hunting line Beagle...I bet there is a major difference.

I'll own another Beagle one day...they are charming dogs!

Well, Clover is a sweet puppy, but she still has razor sharp puppy teeth.
Oh, I know...I was just saying for when she gets older, she shouldn't have such strong hunting instincts because of her breeding lines.

She's beautiful! I love her eyes.
I've worked with a lot of beagles as they're one of the main breeds we use for research dogs at the vet school and I volunteer to socialize them so that the ones that will be adopted out are used to being with people. They're great dogs.
