This is something that I care about, I will not shop in pet stores that carry dogs, and i am trying to get away from shopping at petsmart all together (i rarely go there anymore i have just about outsourced everything that i get). I dont shop at petstores that have dogs because i refuse to let a place that helps puppy mills stay in buisness , and I am getting away from Petsmart all together too because even though they dont sell dogs, they get thier small animals from almost the same conditions that pet stores get thier dogs from. So anyway off my soap box,lol now. Just wanted to let everyone who wants to watch know that it will be on the 27th of April and for those that didnt know when it was going to be on.

If you watch animals cops regulary they often have puppy mills on, some of them are disgusting and so sad. I'm happy we can't sell puppies in petshops but there are still small puppy farms that are awful here too. I'm going to watch this episode, sounds interesting, anyone know when it will be on out Animal Planet?

Wow i didnt know that you cant sell puppies in Ireland, that would be great if that happened here, maybe one day that will happen

i worked at a petstore for nearly 2 years that sold puppies...around the thosand price range. while i admit a lot of puppies had problems i was glad when we stopped going with Hunte corperation. which if you look it up is a very fishy place and thier dogs always have problems. heart murmurs and joint issues.
the store started getting from local breeders, and i know a couple personally through friends, and some of them take very good care of thier dogs. i dont like the fact that they sell to pet stores, i would think they'd rather meet who thier dogs go home with but whatever.
i will never buy a pet store dog though...i know all the goods and bads, but the bads seem to outweigh always.

Ya it is good, though some try and sell them, they say that the puppies were left in a box outside the shop and they are charging people for them so they will go to good homes, most of the times it's a load of crap though.

Our animal planet is different I think though? Or maybe I'm wrong, I though ours was a UK AP because all the like, people that tell you what's on next have English accents.

I will definitely be watching it! I usually watch Animal Cops anyway, not to mention I take the whole puppy mill subject very seriously. I even protested in front of a PetLand.

ha Erika i use to do it about a year ago in front of PetsPlus, i want to go again so bad but with the kids and just life i havent been able to get there. As a matter of fact now that i am thinking of it i believe that the group that i stood outside the pets plus with sent out a bulletin that they were going to be filmed for that segment i will have to find out , it will be neat to see them on there.

Do you know if this puppy mill special is a new one?? I know I've seen one before.
I love watching all the different animal cops/animal precinct. I pretty much watch them every night. What else am i suppose to watch at midnight???

Becka as far as i understand it is a new one, i know it is part of the Philadelphia animal cops and that is a newer show, and they are advertising it like it is new.
