Should probably have already read or did a search...LOL

What in the heck is a third eye?

Susan

lol third eye lid, its the little flapon the inside corner of the eye , Insome breeds of dogs it willturn black or brown so nopink shows .

If you save this to yourpictures then use the Magnifier youwill see in the very bottomright corner where it isa largespot of pink , its showing a bit morethan it should be , but maybe due to stress andbeing scared senseless .

Ahhhhhhhhhh well that makes a heck of a lot ofsense... Noticed one in Pez .. so have been watching it for changes...thought I was going to have to take him to the vet. Certainlyglad you brought it up! Would have looked pretty silly at thevets office now wouldn't have I! :embarrassed:

NO Honnot necessarily , sometimeswhen it looks protruded likethat it can beaninfection causeing it . I would ratherlook silly having it be nothiing than donothing and look silly, with Him havingan eye infection .

ALWAYS Err on the side of caution .

I agree.. husband says I pay more attention towhat is going on with the bunnies than I do him. He washaving what he calls an episode a few nights ago and all I could thinkof was Gracie ...OOPS... Knows I will pay for that!

Here is an old thread where we discussed the "third eyelid" (nictitating membrane).

These 2 Beauties are Silver Fox . Icannotwait to get to enjoy them and watchthe Personalities come out .

They are 6 weeks old andalready the Silvering that gives themtheir name is starting to appear .I See it on Doe # 2 more than on Doe # 1, The Breeder told methat these GirlsGrandmother weighed in somewhere between12 and 14 lbs so they have the potential tobe Big Girls . Both Parents were onsite and neither of them wereunder nourished lol they wereBIG Rabbits . Nicely Ticked (right wording ?) Just Seeing theParents made me a bit lightheaded they are so Awsome . LOLI was so struck bythe Parents I forgot the Camerawas dangling from my wrist, It wasnt untill wewere headed back, when it smacked off myKnee that I realized what I hadforgotten lol .
